Keep a purchasing history
Record every order: date, delivery time, price and the quality of what arrived. With that history, you can see whether standards hold up or slip. Over time, some suppliers get comfortable and pay less attention to long-standing customers, and your records will show it clearly.
Evaluate delivery time and quality
Regular suppliers usually know the items you buy often and can prepare to serve you quickly. When lead times start growing, it is a sign of inattention. Quality also needs monitoring: out of convenience, some partners start delivering lower-grade items, which compromises your auto repair work and customer satisfaction.
Review price and value periodically
Every three or six months, compare: do the products still perform the same? Do they deliver the expected results? Is the price still fair?
